Lesson Summary

Why can it be hard to finish our creative works? There could be many reasons. Here are some:

• we are overwhelmed by choices (e.g. too many ideas, plug-ins, tracks...)
• we don't know where to start
• we get song fatigue and loose the interest after an initial high
• we don't have a plan that shows us the full journey with all the steps necessary
• we lack skills and knowledge to execute the work (on a level we like)

I still struggle every time I want to finish a song but with time and experience I developed the tools and techniques to finish my songs and helped me make a living with music. I wanted to share this approach and so I created the Song Evaluation Blueprint as a cheat sheet or guide line that lets you listen and find out what works and what needs work in your songs.

Because once we know the issues we can find solutions.
